"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often."
-Peter Vidmar
This statement means that you shouldn't sacrifice something that you are carving at this moment get in the way of a life goal you want to accomplish. You have to go chase your dreams and not let anything small change that. This is the reason why you should write down your goals and read them, so you can remember what you want and know what direction you should take. For example, you want have a dream of becoming an actress, but right now you feel like hanging out with your friends, so instead of memorizing the lines you are suppose to, you decide to go leave. This will change your direction and you might not become what you wanted to be. Another example, let's say that you want to be a teacher, but you decide to not study or do your work, this will bring your grades down and you will have less chances of attending college. Before you make decisions you have to see (imagine) how that will change your future. If you want this, but then at that moment you want something else, you have to see how doing the other thing can affect what you want. Never give up on your dreams, always chase them until you get them. Don't let anything get in your way even if in that moment it feels like the right thing to do.
