"Right is right, even if everyone is against it; and wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it."
-William Penn
This statement means that just because everyone does something it doesn't mean it is the right thing to do. Also just because you are the only one doing something it doesn't mean you are doing what is wrong. We trend to always go with the crowd, to be the follower, even when we know they're doing something bad. For example, you decide to study and not cheat in the test, but you are the only one doing that, it doesn't mean you are doing something wrong. Another example is, your friends decide to tell their parents that they are going to a friend's house, but instead they're going to the movies. Just because they all did, it does mean it is the right thing to do. Most teens go through peer pressure and decide to do whatever their friends are doing, you can't let them convince you to do something that you shouldn't do. Don't be the follower, be the leader, do what you think is right, not what others want you to do. I have been in situations where I am in between doing what I want to do and doing what my friends want and I am sure you have gone through this or will. You should know that you should always do what you want and what is right, not what the crowd says to do. You have to make your own decisions, don't let someone make them for you. It is your life and if you do what others say, you will be the one getting affected not them.
